Biography


Sandra Guy is a prize-winning poet and writer of articles, stories, short films and monologues but her special interest is in children’s books and teen fiction which she uses to explore the frontier where myth, magic and the real world meet.

Her writing has appeared in books and magazines in the UK, France and the United States. After graduating with a degree in English from Bristol University, Sandra worked in advertising, ran a theatre production company, and worked with young homeless people. She has led writing workshops in Greece, read tarot cards in Rome and taught English in Paris.

She currently lives in Amsterdam with her son, his cat, a pandemonium of green parrots and the stories of a hundred ghosts.
